Jack has a had long and trialed past, he doesn't know much about his family or its history, considering that he was initiated into the Kiith Order when he was two years old after showing in an uncontrolled temper tantrum that he had the abilities of a Kiith, simply baby-Jack flew around the room and thrashing about seeming to throw balls of energy from his palms as he did and also making things fly around the room that he was not touching but simply from what the Kiith call, "One's inner self." From that day forward Archer has never been home nor knows who his family is, which leaves open the thought of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and even mother and father.
Through out the years, Jack has meet one person related to him, a brother, Kitari Hisohmi, a witch-man that was so in tune with nature that he could literally walk through tree's and any plant life that there was nearby. One day Kitari simply vanished and Archer has not heard a word nor seen his brother since that very day. Although his brother was of a different orientation (as in his brother was homo-sexual) Jack loved his brother no less than a man could love his brother, and also loyal to him as Kitari was to Jack.
While Jack was a student or as the Kiith say, 'Child', he shows exceptional skill and ability. Archer's Master a Drahka named Dax'venus Morlahku, was the current head of the Kiith S'jet and Soban instructor, as Master Morlahku's 'child', by the time Archer was ten years of age he was beating every S'jet (with exception to his Teacher) with a Light Sword. As for Jack's skills with Soul Manipulation (read below), there was none that could be measured against his skill and natural ability. At the age of 6 Archer turned himself into a more powerful Kiith by gathering some much power that he seemed to 'transform' his young body into a powerful warrior, with heightened abilities and even more power than any of the older and more trained Kiith. Soon Jack was not only able to 'transform' himself into this mighty warrior but also change his entire body into that of the old God, Kagro, who was the founder of the Kiith Order and also the Guardian of Man. This happened when Archer was 13 and during the War of Attrition.
For 5 long years the War spread across the cosmos, and when Archer turned sixteen, three years into the war, he was dubbed a full-Kiith and choose his branching (what form of Kiith he would become), following after his Teacher, Archer became a S'jet/Soban, considering he rather be on the front lines fighting with his Teacher and to him the only family he had ever known until then. Archer was given a fleet to command and sent out to the furthest regions into enemy space and past the front lines, his Teacher's fleet also followed him. While awaiting for a re-supply group Archer's fleet came under attack by the largest fleet in the enemy's holding, and their flagship the Darkstar, while barely escaping total annihilation by the enemy fleet Archer watched while cut off from his former-Teacher's command ship as it's FTL (Faster than Light) drive was destroyed and soon after the ship as well. After jumping away with only losing 10% of both fleets Jack wanted revenge and sent a message to the supply group to prepare for combat and jumped back into the system where the enemy fleet was and commanded the main cruisers to fire on the Darkstar, and soon after the rest of the enemy fleet.
If there is one thing that stands out about Jack its his choice of women, his first love was a woman named Rachel Cross, she was a pilot in the Star Fleet of the Tenlothian Empire (SFTE), her home world had been destroyed during the war and was just like Jack, no family and nothing to really return to other then duty. Cross, had been only 17 when she enlisted into the Fleet and had become an Ace with 37 kills in her first combat mission over Tenlothia Prime, when the war first broke out over Empire's home world. At this time a species of aliens known as the "Cruzi" attacked from beyond the outer rim of their galaxy, the war was horrible, the fleet bombed planets and destroyed entire systems during this conflict to try and holt the advancement of the enemy and finally turned the tide with the luck of Kiith S'jet Archer and Captain Cross. By having 18 Detroit Class Dreadnaughts, 5 Redmond Class Assault Carriers, and 15 Blitz Class Destroyers and 4 Lance Class Destroyers, do a large hyperspace jump directly into the middle of the enemy fleet and having over 50% of the rest of the Grand Tenlothian Fleet, come out of hyperspace infront of the enemy fleet, they were able to destroy this "Exploratory Fleet" which had pushed the Empire and its allies to the brink of complete destruction. During the battle Archer and Cross where in a double pilot Cancer Fighter, and was hit by debris from the destruction of one of their Destroyers. This debris destabilized their primary power systems and sent the fighter drifting off into deep space, it took two weeks of hard searching to find Archer and Cross, during which time the close bonds between them had changed from friendship to love. Soon after they were found by the SFTE, they stole an experimental fighter a SF-401 and left everything and everyone behind in search of a place to live in peace and quiet.
After arriving in the Keep or well a few miles south of it in a place call Glendale, Rachel and Jack soon had a son and named him Jacob Liam Archer. Once while Jack was out for food, a creature that called itself Magma killed both Rachel and Jacob. Upon returning home Jack found both of them dead, he gathered his belongings and found the peach tree that Rachel would rest and sunbathe herself when Jack took care of Jacob, and buried both them (what was left of them) and then burned the cabin he had come to call home with them. It was not for 2 years later when Archer was 21 that he found his family's killer and returned the favor by slicing the half-lava half-golem creature's head off and then finishing if not over doing the vengeance by blasting the remains of the creature into dust with Jack's coveted move a Double-Soul Fist.
Six months after this altercation, Jack met Bella, the second princess of the fire-faire realm. It didn't take Bella long to mend Jack's broken heart, greatly so due to the fact that Jack had seemed have been found by a small Neko named Yumi Akara and called Jack & Bella, Daddy and Mommy. During this time Jack meet his brother Kitari and also had a new baby with Bella named Bianca Marie Archer. Again pain struck Archer's life when an incubus named Epsilon Dark plagued Jack's life causing Archer not only to have great hardship with Bella but also causing at the time for Archer's mind to split into Jack Archer and a persona that dubbed itself simply Flare.
After a grueling year of fighting with Epsilon, Jack forced his mind to become one again and in doing so the unified Jack Archer defeated and killed Epsilon, not just his body but also the creature's soul. Before going after Epsilon and this is what caused Jack to go to the dark loathsome demon’s castle was the fact that Epsilon had killed or let it be known that he had killed Bella, Bianca, Reiha (A good friend of Jack's), Yumi, and also Kitari. When Jack made his final attack upon Epsilon, Jack used the unified powers of Flare, Kagro, and himself to completely destroy Epsilon, this final blow also caused Jack to be tossed from the current time line.
Jack was thrown into a time when a place called Majestica and its King 'Knox' ruled. Jack fell directly into the midst of another battle when he fell from his time and into Majestica's, fighting beside Knox and not know where or even when he was. Archer simply started fighting those around him, and that seemed to be the people attacking Knox and his steed. After winning the battle with Knox and his army, Jack was asked by Knox to become one of Knox's generals of his army. Which Jack did and help Knox defeat his enemies before Jack was finally able to gather enough energy and rip another hole in time and force himself back to the Keep. To this day, the thought of his life in Majestica urges him to return to the battlefields and to protect those in the lands of Majestica.
Upon returning to the Keep, Jack returned to the home that he and Bella had once made their own a place called Snow Manor, gathering his things once more, Jack was visited by Kagro his god and was told to go and find the seven Talismans of power. Jack did go and find all 7 of the Talismans and used their power to free himself of the god named Kagro. After doing so, Jack faded into the lime-light and tried to live the quiet life and mind his own due to the fact that he was tried of seeing his friends go off and fight for he everything he believed so faithfully in and he was unable to do so. Thus, Jack went off and gathered the Talismans once more and took every bit of his old power back. After doing so, Jack has gone to Dragon's Keep Castle and become both the defender of Lady Hawkeye and her people. Jack became one of her Dragon Riders and thus fights for her as well.
Having left the Tournament Jack set off to assist the Tenlothian Empire with a civil war that broke out within the confines of its territories, soon into the conflict he met someone he never thought of before, his sister Katrena Archer. A slave for a man named Septer of Naught, with this Jack was displeased to say the least. Trapped on two different sides of the civil war Jack struggled to save his sister and her soul as well as his people. Upon returning to the Empire, Jack also discovered that he was and is the heir to its throne and now tries to save what he had turned his back on, with trillions of lives depending on him and his actions Jack has been away from the Keep for a good amount of time and returns with more then just his strength of will. Feeling the need to assist his old freinds in the Keep, Jack has returned and with the hope to find his sister here amoung the populaus of the Keep.
With the end of the Civil War, the Tenlothian Empire is in a state of great peace, having made contact with another Empire, called the Aquarian Empire, an alliance has been formed. Jack has been focused lately on his duties as the Emperor of the Tenlothian Empire and the reforming of the Kiith Order. During the Civil War the primary world that the Kiith used for training and the control of their warriors, was bombed, by his sister, Katrena. She has returned from the dead it has seemed, Jack unable to kill her for she is his sister has now started to try and reform her, thinking that she was brainwashed by Septer during the Civil War.
Jack and Kitari, the story of these two brothers is very long, they have been close and far in their relationship, but they have grown closer than ever since the Civil War and them moving to take their seats of galactic power. Having followed the traditions of their people and living not only to serve the people but also to lead them, from times of greatness to times of darkness. They are rarely seen without the other with them or not with some communication link open to the other.
War has broken out again, with the resurrection of Katrena, and deceit of her rebirth made possible by the Aquarians, Emperor Archer set out to find the man responsible of the entire issue, General Tjolnir Ailron. Having not been fully healed or his power fully ready for the fight, it was a narrow fight that drew to a draw. Due to the fact of the Lights acting on their own accord to stop the fight before more lives were lost.
Three weeks later Katrena, who had been an agent of Jack's arrived on a Goliath Class Frigate, hidden in an asteroid field in one of the outer systems of the Aquarian Empire. When she arrived on the Goliath named "Agent" she killed the flight deck crew, then making her way to the bridge of the ship, planted explosives. Jack caught off guard by this and not knowing that his sister had killed anyone on the ship soon found a needle lodged in the base of his neck loaded with a paralysis toxin. Jack managed to throw himself into an escape pod and launch it before the ship blew up, he was later picked up by Kitari and the Nighten Gale.
It has been ten years since the civil war ended, in that time Emperor Jack Archer has setup the Empire into the Democracy of Tenlothia (known as The Unified Republic of Tenlothia), it has been very hard but Archer felt it was best that the people of the Empire govern themselves. It is unknown what happened to Katrena, but it is doubtful any have actually gone to look for her. However, it is commonly believed that she simply faded into the darkness of deep space with the loss of the war and her banishment from even the outer colonies of the URT.
Jack has been in what he calls retirement for the past few years, enjoying himself and the relative peace that he has found at his cabin a few miles outside of the Keep. He still trains his body every day, works on various projects of his own creation. Jack has even learned how to whittle, having made some of his own furniture and decorations within his home. His personal pride and joy is the chest set he made from drift wood. Along with this he has also started growing some of his own foods and materials for beer, ale, and other liquors. Why go buy it when you can grow it? It was the question that started the whole process for him to become the part-time farmer that he is today.
Archer often finds himself lost in the thoughts and memories of his past, thinking that there might be another day when someone cries out for him. Though he prays each night that it doesn’t happen and that he’ll be left alone and with his silent life.
